So you're planning a visit to Nomad Brewing in Brookvale and want to know what food's on offer. Good news — Dip It Sydney is the resident kitchen inside the brewery, and we're serving up proper smash burgers, crispy fried chicken, loaded fries, and a whole lot of sauce. We're open Wednesday to Sunday, right inside the Nomad precinct at 5 Sydenham Rd.

If you haven't been before, here's the deal: this isn't your standard pub feed. Everything we make is designed to be dipped. We've got 14 signature sauces — 10 wet dips and 4 dry dips — and the magic happens when you combine them. Coat your burger in Gochujang, then hit it with crushed Doritos. That's what we call the double-dip technique, and once you try it, regular burgers just won't cut it anymore.

The Smash Burger Menu

Our burgers are the main event. Double smash patties cooked fresh on the flat top, with a proper crust and that classic smash burger texture. No fancy pretentious stuff — just solid burgers done right.

One of the favourites is The Bacon Hill, named after the Northern Beaches suburb Beacon Hill. It's a nod to where we started and where our hearts still are. As a Northern Beaches owned and operated business, we wanted the menu to feel connected to the area.

We also run seasonal specials that rotate throughout the year. Recently we've had the Italian Stallion — beef patties with pepperoni, mozzarella sticks, rocket, and pesto mayo, served with Napolitana dip and Pangrattato dry dip. There's also the Succulent Chinese Meal with fried chicken, miso chilli mayo, pickled pineapple, sweet and sour dip, and crushed prawn crackers. These specials don't stick around forever, so if something catches your eye, get in while you can.

Every burger is customisable too. Want extra fried chicken on there? Done. Extra cheese? Easy. We're not precious about it.

Fried Chicken and Wings

If burgers aren't your thing (or you want both — no judgement), our fried chicken is worth the trip on its own. It's our signature recipe, and you can get it as pieces or wings.

Honestly, Brookvale is the ultimate spot to smash some wings. Beers on tap, sport always showing on the big screen, comfy couches to sink into. Grab a bucket of wings, pick your dips, and settle in for the afternoon. It's that kind of place.

Loaded Fries and Sides

We do loaded fries that are properly loaded — not just a sad sprinkle of cheese. These are meant to be shared, or not. Again, no judgement.

And obviously, fries are the perfect vehicle for trying all the dips. Start with Ranch, move to Queso, finish with Buffalo. Work your way through the whole lineup if you're feeling ambitious.

The Dipping Experience

This is what makes Dip It different from any other burger joint in Sydney. You don't just eat your food — you dip it. We've built the entire menu around this concept.

The wet dips include Gochujang, Queso, Ranch, Buffalo, Napolitana, and Sweet and Sour, among others. The dry dips are things like crushed Doritos and Pangrattato. The real move is combining them — wet sauce first, then coat it in something crunchy. It's messy, it's fun, and it tastes incredible.

What to Know Before You Go

Nomad Brewing is at 5 Sydenham Rd in Brookvale. We're open Wednesday through Sunday inside the brewery precinct. It's walk-in only, no bookings needed — just rock up when you're hungry.

Under 18s are welcome with a legal guardian, so it's not exclusively an adults-only venue. That said, it's definitely got that brewery vibe — beers flowing, mates catching up, sport on the screens.
