What is Dip It Express?

If you've been hearing buzz around the Upper North Shore about a new burger spot in Turramurra, that's us. Dip It Express is the second location from Dip It Sydney — the burger joint where you don't just eat your burger, you dip it into one of 14 signature sauces. We're located inside the North Turramurra Recreational Area (NTRA) canteen at 361A Bobbin Head Rd, and we've brought our full dipping experience to the Ku-ring-gai community.

Before you swing by, here are 3 things you need to know about Dip It Express to make sure you get the most out of your visit.

1. The Hours Are Different From Our Brookvale Location

This is probably the most important thing to know. Dip It Express doesn't run the same schedule as our Brookvale spot at Nomad Brewing Co.

Here's when you can find us at Turramurra:

• Friday: Dinner service from 5pm to 8:30pm
• Saturday and Sunday: Open all day, including breakfast

That's right — we do breakfast on weekends. If you're after something to fuel up before a morning at the park or a weekend sport session, we've got you sorted. And on Fridays, breakfast is available all day too, so you can grab it whenever suits.

We're walk-in only, no bookings required. Just rock up when you're hungry.

2. It's Properly Family-Friendly

One of the best things about Dip It Express is the setting. We're inside the NTRA canteen, which means you're right in the heart of a recreational area that families already know and love. Kids can run around, parents can relax, and everyone gets to eat smash burgers with their hands covered in sauce.

Unlike our Brookvale location (which is inside a working brewery and requires under 18s to be with a legal guardian), Dip It Express is designed for all ages. It's the kind of place where you can bring the whole crew — grandparents, toddlers, teenagers who think they're too cool for family outings. Everyone's welcome.

If you're in Pymble, St Ives, Gordon, or anywhere else in the Ku-ring-gai area, this is your local Dip It. No need to trek down to the Northern Beaches anymore.

3. The Full Dip It Menu Is Here

Some people assume that "Express" means a stripped-back menu. Not the case. Dip It Express serves the full Dip It experience — smash burgers, fried chicken, loaded fries, and all 14 of our signature dipping sauces.

That includes our 10 wet dips like Gochujang, Queso, Ranch, Buffalo, Napolitana, and Sweet & Sour. Plus our 4 dry dips — crushed Doritos, Pangrattato, and other crunchy coatings that take things to another level.

The move? Double-dip. Coat your burger in a wet sauce, then roll it through a dry dip. It's a whole new layer of flavour and texture that you genuinely can't get anywhere else in Sydney.

We also rotate seasonal specials, so there's always a reason to come back. Recent hits have included the Italian Stallion (beef patty with pepperoni, mozzarella sticks, rocket, pesto mayo, Napolitana dip, and Pangrattato dry dip) and the Succulent Chinese Meal (fried chicken with miso chilli mayo, pickled pineapple, sweet & sour dip, and crushed prawn crackers).
